Sponsor the shelf.
Put your tool in front of people looking for their next great find. Your banner, your brand, and four weeks on the shelf.
SEE EXACTLY WHERE YOU APPEAR
Above the discoveries. Part of the shelf.
Your banner appears below the page heading and above the repository collection on Home, Top of All Time, Most Recommended, Rising, For You, and topic shelves.
Your banner appears above the repositories on discovery pages. One sponsor at a time; rankings remain independent. Preview visits do not count toward traffic or sponsor reports.

A place on the shelf
A prominent banner above the repositories, on every discovery shelf. Select a duration and a Monday start date.
A LONGER VIEW
Become a founding partner.
A year-long relationship with HackerRepos. Tell us about your product, goals, and budget; we’ll agree on placement, campaign dates, creative refreshes, and price before any payment.
Annual partnerships are quoted individually. An inquiry does not reserve dates or create a charge.
YOUR PLACE IN THE COLLECTION
Your bookings
Reports retain the most recent 90 days. An impression is counted after the banner is at least half visible for one second; clicks are deduplicated per impression token. These are operational counts, not independently audited analytics.
A visible placement. Clear terms.
US$349 buys 28 consecutive days; US$99 buys seven days. Each buys one approved, site-wide banner on discovery pages for the selected UTC period. Campaigns start Monday at 00:00 UTC and end at 00:00 UTC after the purchased duration. Annual founding partnerships require a separately agreed scope and price. It does not buy repository inclusion, ranking changes, endorsements, or a guaranteed number of visits, clicks, sales, or search-engine benefits.
Submit only products you are authorized to represent. We accept relevant developer products and services. Misleading claims, malicious destinations, adult content, gambling, and impersonation are not accepted. Advertised links must remain consistent with the approved product. Creative changes need a new review.
New ads are reviewed before payment. Review reservations expire after 48 hours; approved reservations expire if not paid within the next 48 hours. During Stripe checkout your reservation remains protected until the payment service confirms payment or expiration. No subscription is created.
You can cancel an unpaid submission in Your bookings. To cancel a paid sponsorship, contact support before its scheduled start for a full refund. If we cancel or cannot provide your placement, we issue a full refund. After a placement starts, we do not promise refunds for low traffic or results. Refund processing time depends on your payment provider.
Purchasing is unavailable until our business and support details are configured.
Your data, kept purposeful.
Browsing the collection does not require an account. Sponsorship booking uses a verified email address and a secure session cookie to identify your bookings. This essential cookie lasts up to 30 days. We store your account identifier, email, submitted creative, dates, payment references and booking status. Stripe collects payment details; HackerRepos never receives your card number.
We count page views, public repository page paths, referring domains, visits to GitHub, sponsor impressions and clicks without selling browsing interests or sending your saved collection to advertisers. Analytics does not store search text, full referring URLs, cookies or persistent visitor identifiers; traffic tracking respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. A short-lived hashed network identifier is used for request limits; it is deleted after expiration. Analytics events are retained for 90 days. Email delivery, when enabled, uses Resend for booking notifications. Hosting and account sign-in use OpenAI Sites. Contact support for access or deletion requests; payment-related records may need to be retained.
